Privacy

Moflare has no accounts and keeps as little as possible. Here is exactly what is stored and shared:

• Saving plans store: your Telegram chat number (if you use Telegram) or a random code for your phone (if you don't), plan settings, the savings address you typed, and the transaction ids of moves made from reminders.

• If you turn on reminders on your phone, we store the address your browser gives us for sending notifications (it goes through Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft, depending on your browser). The reminder is encrypted so only your phone can read it.

• We do not store names, usernames, phone numbers, emails or ID documents.

• Your browser keeps your recent moves and saved addresses on your own device only, and your savings goals.

• If you choose "Back up goals", we store your goals encrypted in your browser with a key from your wallet's signature: we can't read them or tell which wallet they belong to.

• Buying and cashing out show Onramp Money's screen (or Onramper's, for cards); that company collects what it needs, including bank details for cash-out, under its own privacy notice. We don't receive it.

• We read which country you're in from your connection to pick a default currency. It isn't stored.

• To check sanctions we compare the two addresses of a move against the US Treasury's public list, on our own server: they aren't sent anywhere for this.

• To get prices we send the move's addresses and amount to LI.FI.

• If you opened Moflare through a partner's link, the partner's name is kept on your device, and when a move finishes we send its transaction id so our server can credit that partner. The server keeps your public wallet address linked to the partner, never anything else.

• Partners sign in with a wallet signature; we store their wallet address, link name, display name and welcome line.

• Error reports go to Sentry with addresses and numbers removed.

• Usage counts (for example "a quote was shown") are anonymous: no addresses, amounts or IP addresses.

• If you send "/support" to our Telegram bot, your message and chat number are forwarded to our support chat so we can reply. Nothing is stored by us; don't send secret words (the bot refuses them).
